When your cleanup hitter goes 0 for 5 and leaves 7 on base, you ain’t gonna win.

Lee still has 41 RBI through 45 games played. Sometimes you have an off day and your teammates need to pick you up. My defending Carlos has nothing to do with him being on my APBA team. BTW, Carlos Lee was rated average by the APBA Game Company after making zero errors in LF for the White Sox last season. I defended that decision and still see some merit to it as Lee improved alot defensively. But I have to say average Scott Podsednik is much better than Lee. I also now think Aaron Rowand is an average centerfielder. Corey Patterson showed what a below average centerfielder looks like in the recent Crosstown Classic.
FWIW, I also have CLee on a fantasy league team.
Nothing against Lee.. just pointing out the obvious.
…and look what he did today.
